Thomas Cruise Mapother (Tom Cruise) is an American actor and producer born on 3 July 1962. Tom started his career with the film ‘Endless Love’ at the age of 19. Tom’s first leading role was in the Romantic Comedy ‘Risky Business’ in 1983, after playing supporting role in Taps (1981) and The Outsiders (1983). After starring in the action drama ‘Top Gun’, Cruise became a full-fledged movie star of Hollywood.

In 1980, Tom starred in several successful films including ‘The color of Money’ (1986), ‘Cocktail’ (1988), ‘Rain Man’ (1988) and ‘Born on the Fourth of July’ (1989).

Tom has done a number of successful films, including science fiction ‘Minority Report’ (2002) and the historical thriller ‘Valkyrie’ (2008).

Tom has also starred in the action comedy film ‘Knight and Day’ (2010), the thriller ‘Jack Reacher’ (2012) and military science fiction film ‘Edge of Tomorrow’ (2014).

Tom Cruise has been well known for his role as ‘Ethan Hunt’ in the Film series ‘Mission Impossible’. The latest series of this film was released in 2015.
