One of the smart, handsome and dashing actors Sidharth Malhotra was born on 16th January 1985 in Delhi. Sidharth belonged to a Punjabi family. He completed his school education from Don Bosco School and Birla Vidhya Niketan School and then he completed his higher education from Shaheed Bhagat Singh College, New Delhi. At the age of 18, he started doing modeling and he was successful in it but later on, he decided to do acting in Bollywood.

Sidharth made his first Television presence in a show Dharti Ka Veer Yodha Prithviraj Chauhan where he worked from 2006-2009. In 2010, he worked as an assistant director in the Movie ” My Name Is Khan ” which was directed by Karan Johar.

In 2012, Sidharth made his debut in a movie “Student Of The Year “with Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt. This movie did well at the box office.  It also received good reviews from the critics as well as audiences.

In 2014, he got 2 movie offers “Hasee to Phasee” and “Ek Villain” Both of these movies done well at the box office and got a good response from the audience. In 2015, he appeared in the remake of Hollywood movie Warrior titled “Brothers” which was directed by Karan Malhotra starred  Akshay Kumar, Jacqueline Fernandez and Jackie Shroff. This movie didn’t perform well at the box office and it received negative feedback from critics and audience.

Later on, Sidharth Malhotra was seen in a movie “Kapoor and Sons” directed by Shakun Batra. The movie starred Alia Bhatt, Fawad Khan, Sidharth Malhotra and Rishi Kapoor. This movie was a good family drama and it was one of the biggest hit of that year.

In 2016 Sidharth Malhotra came up with a movie “Baar Baar Dekho” starred with Katrina Kaif and directed by  Nithya Mehra. This movie received a negative response from critics and audience.

His upcoming movie released on 25 August 2017, “A Gentleman” with Jacqueline Fernandez.
