The man with many talents, Ayushmann Khurrana was born on 14th September 1984 to Poonam and P.Khurrana in Chandigarh.
Ayushmann completed his studies in Chandigarh and has majors degree in English literature and masters degree in Mass Communication. During his college days, Ayushmann was actively involved in the theatre group of his college.He also did serious theatres for 5 years. Due to his unconditional love for theatre, he founded ” Aaghaaz ” and “Manchtantra”. He also won the best actor award for playing Ashwatthama in Dharamvir Bharati’s Andha Yug.
In 2004 Ayushmann participated in a reality show Roadies and turned out to be the winner of the show.His next project was being a radio jockey at BIG FM and also won the young achievers award for it. Besides being a radio jockey Ayushmann also became television host for the show India’s got talent alongside Nikhil Chinappa. He went on hosting various reality shows on various channels.
In 2012, Khurrana stepped into a world of cinema by marking his debut with the movie Vicky Donor opposite Yami Gautam. The out of box content of this movie grabbed major audience attention and was one of the well-received movies of the year. Ayushmann also crooned for the song Pani Da Rang in the movie. Both his acting as well as singing made his audience’s favourite.
Khurrana was next seen in the movie Nautanki Sala. The film garnered positive reviews and proved to be moderate at the box office.
Even though some of the projects failed to taste success at the box office, his popularity knew no bounds.
He made a tremendous came back with the movie Dum Lagaa Ke Haisha. He was seen opposite Bhumi Pednekar in the movie. The unique content of the movie did wonders and become a major success. His next project is Bareli Ki Barfi and Manmarziyan.
