Imtiaz Ali is one of the famous director, who was in born 16 June 1971. He is an Indian film director and writer. He started with the great knowledge his with writing the stories and directing the television shows. He gives his direction to the several television shows like Imtehaan, Naina, and Kurukshetra. In 2005 he took step forward towards the better career, he made his directorial debut with Socha Na Tha, which did not do so well. Then he earned critical and commercial success for his direction of Jab We Met (2007). Love Aaj Kal (2009) and Rockstar (2011) these films made him known to the world as the youngest director.
Imtiaz Ali was born in Jamshedpur. He was brought up in Patna by his parents and Jamshedpur. His father Mansoor Ali did an irrigation job that is why they do not have any fixed place. He had his early education in St. Michael’s High School, Patna and further in D.B.M.S. English School, Jamshedpur, He is the brother of director Arif Ali (who made his directional debut with the famous film Lekar Hum Deewana Dil) now he is working with him as a dialogue writer.
He attended Hindu College, University of Delhi, where he took part in College Theater. He was very famous and known in college. He also started Ibtida, the dramas a socialistic of the college. Thereafter he moved to Mumbai for more studies and did a diploma course from Xavier Institute of Communication.
Imtiaz was married to Preety Ali but divorced her in 2012, his marriage can’t stay longer. He has a daughter named Ida Ali.
